Valentines Done Early!

With Abby going to Vegas with family and Ohio to plan the wedding, Valentine's Day came a little early this year. A bottle of wine and a nice sushi dinner. Simple and Sweet!! s

Near Point

February 1st and the snowpack looks more like June 1st. Skiing stinks, so hiking it is!

Las Vegas 2013

This year we went to Las Vegas to see mom and Rafael. It was a lovely visit filled with warm air and lots to see and do. We cruised the strip, ate some delicious food, spent plenty of time in mom's pool, saw a cirque du soleil show, and hiked Red Rock canyon. We can't wait to go back!

Hawaii 2013

Our second trip to the big island was every bit as wonderful as the first. The highlight of this trip of course, was our engagement. Brendan proposed on the beach at Anaeho'omalu Bay. Another highlight of the trip was a sunset lava hike with Kalapana Cultural tours. And of course, lots of great food and great time on the beach!

Ski to Portage Glacier

Saturday was a gorgeous, blue-skied spring day, so we decided to ski 3 miles across frozen Portage Lake to catch an up close view of Portage Glacier. It was a wonderfully warm day with lots of people out enjoying the sunshine.
