Paris - Day 2
Our second full day in Paris, we went to the Louvre. We spent many hours in the Louvre, and saw as much of it as possible in one day. The paintings, the sculptures, the Egyptian artifacts, and the people. The many, fascinating people.

Paris - Day 1
Our first day in Paris was a busy one!
We started out atop the Arc de Triomphe; walked all the way down the Champs-Élysées, doing some shopping along the way; passed by the Louvre for some pictures on our way to the Cathedral Notre-Dame; and then made our way back to the Eiffel Tower for sunset. It started out rainy,
but ended beautifully!

Train to Paris
We took the train to Paris, from St Pancras Station London, through the Chunnel, to Paris Gare du Nord. The ride last two hours and went by surprisingly fast!
It was pouring when we arrived in Paris; the cab driver we got had no idea how to get to our hotel, which was less than a mile from the train station; so we walked. We were tired, and Abby was sick, so we found a great pizza place, Babalou-Sur-Seine, right next to Sacré-Cœur and had a delicious dinner.

London Day 2
Our full day in London consisted of fighting our way to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guards. The ceremony was cool to see, the hordes of people were fascinating.
After the changing of the guard, we headed to the London Eye. This gigantic ferris wheel was a great choice - excellent views of the city. And we totally lucked out with a few patches of blue skies!

London Day 1
After our flight from Dublin to London, we checked into our hotel and headed to Kensington Gardens.
Despite the scattered showers, it was beautiful walk, and we finished with dinner at Gig's. Seriously, amazing fish and chips!
